Dishwasher not working?
If your dishwasher turns on but will not start or complete a cycle the first thing to do is check the spiget, the spiget is where your drain hose (A) connects to your sinks drain, prior to calling a service tech.
You will need to remove the drain hose then stick a screw driver in the direction of the arrow into the spiget to ensure it isn’t blocked, you should also check that the inner hole has been correctly drilled out to 3/8 or 10mm, re-attach drain hose and tighten, then try start the dishwasher again, if it doesn’t start call a service tech.
PS: Place a towel on the cupboard base as a small amount water may run out when removing the drain hose.
This diagram was chosen as it is incorrect, although a drain pump can pump volume it cant pump pressure so the highest point of your drain hose (A) should not exceed 1000mm , your drain hose should curve up about 100mm higher than the top of your S-bend to prevent any dirty sink water back washing into your dishwasher.
